Monique April Malone is a multi-media artist whose conceptual framework has sprung from her earlier works during her studies of fashion and design. She focuses on evoking the sensual subjects of self, as female, erotic and present. Through the moving image she creates raw and multi-textual visuals, which are beautiful and emotional. She entices the voyeur to visit the {sub-urban} landscapes of desire. Poised on the edge of simulacrum; you cant help be drawn into the evoking allure of her works. Her role as the inter-textual narrator will certainly draw you in to interrogate the obvious and the silent.
